October 26, 2015 - Dr. Michael Shay has been awarded a grant entitled, "Ion Heating During Magnetic Reconnection: Theoretical and Observational Coupled Investigations".

Dr. Gizis awarded grant from the National Aero and Space Administration

September 28, 2015 - Dr. John Gizis has been awarded a grant entitled, "Ultracool Dwarfs: Clouds, Flares and Exoplanets" which proposes to observe nearby ultracool dwarfs using the Kepler K2 mission to characterize their cloud/weather properties, measure their flare rates, and detect their planetary companions.
