Prof. Takahiro Moriyama

While working on his Ph.D. thesis at UD Center for Spintronics and Biodetection, Prof. Moriyama set up seminal experiments that have ignited the field of spin pumping in magnetic tunnel junctions. Takahiro is currently an Associate Professor in the Nano Spintronics Lab at Kyoto University, one of the most prestigious Universities in Japan. After graduating in 2008, his career path included a postdoctoral position in nanoscale physics  research conducted by Ralph Group at Cornell University and as industrial physicist position at Headway/MagIC/TDK.
