Prof. Hadjipanayis is invited speaker at the 2012 APS March Meeting

February 13, 2012 - Professor Hadjipanayis is scheduled to give an invited talk on High-Performance Permanent Magnets for Energy-Efficient Devices in the Invited Session on Magnetic Materials and Magnetism Research for Energy Applications at the upcoming 2012 APS March Meeting in Boston from February 27-March 2, 2012. 

The APS March Meeting is the largest physics meeting in the world, focusing on physics research from industry, universities, and major labs.Scientific sessions will be presented at the Boston Convention Center. The outstanding scientific program will include more than 100 invited sessions and 550 contributed sessions at which approximately 7,000 papers will be presented. The only other invited speaker from the University of Delaware in Boston is Prof. Robert Opila from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering who will talk about Role of Defects and Their Analysis in Photovoltaics.

The DPA graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working on Condensed Matter and Materials Physics will also present 22 contributed talks in Boston.
